RGIS - Great Plains Site Mission

Univeristy of North Dakota within the John d. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences Regional Weather Information Center (RWIC). The focus expertise of RGIS-GP involves the use of weather and climate data as it affects aquifers, soils, demographics, and land use in the region within a geographical information system environment.;  This expertise has been gained through extensive research and technology application development over the past decade. Critical local and regional weather related issues to agricultural production, environme ntal quality of air and water, and regional atmospheric impacts on flooding and drought are currently the principle focus of the RGIS-GP site.
