One of the many data streams coming in to the Regional Weather Information Center is satellite imagery. Our GOES GVAR receiver system from SeaSpace Corporation constantly captures and processes images and other data from the NOAA GOES environmental satellites. These satellites transmit a wealth of multispectral images and sounder data 24 hours a day.

Some of the images generated by this system are availiable in real-time on this webpage. See the Satellite Images section under Weather Information.
