Chemical and Biological Applications of Mesoscale Atmospheric Modeling, including
- Improvements in objective analysis using the Local Analysis and Prediction System
- Wind motion diagnoses using a cross-correlation analysis technique
- Mesoscale data assimilation for model initialization
- Improvements and applications of land surface modeling
Atmospheric Electromagnetic & Acoustic Effects in Signature Modeling,including
- Development of a response filter to provide better analyses in sparse data regions
- Development of improved atmospheric boundary layer initialization
- Development of improved electromagnetic ray tracing algorithms
